there alt of pople that dont even have pve toons allthey have is pvp

so 7400*12 runs a hour is 88800 times the chest is being opened and about 4 poepe get them a hour so odds are 1 out of 22000

and that if eveeryo nesfarming the run whichi dont think there is odds stated by anet where 1/1000 or .0001 chance

As far as people farming the quest;
I guess at any given time the number is in the thousands, at peak hours tens of thousands. The total number of -accounts- that actually farm (like 10~20 times a day or more) the quest per day might be a 6 digit number, although I do doubt that, but plenty of people don't feel like wasting their time on it.

If 50% of the people is doing the quest when the other 50% is taking it, there would be 50.000 people in LA at the same time.
If one district can contain 1000people, you need 50 districts.
So I think there is less than 10.000people farming the quest.

I just got back from a run today and was making my way back to the rift warden then i saw it....a bastard necro casually sitting next to his MINIATURE POLAR BEAR. For those of you who are really lazy, Cupcakes make life so much easier. Enter the quest, scoff a Cupcake and run to the end. You wont need to fight any Grentch unless it uses Icicles. Get to the end in ~1min and afk for 9mins.
